Sea Day

Today is a sea day and we went forward an hour due to moving east.

We got up for breakfast at 8 am, and there were only 30 people in the buffet. We went to a fitness class and then to the kitchen tour at 10:30 am.

We’ve toured the kitchen of one other cruise ship that was about 2/3 the size of this ship and its kitchens were very cramped, most isles were 30 inches wide at most.

This larger ship has much more room in the kitchen with escalators going up to the two dining floors.

They make all the ice cream on the ship in the kitchen. Often 10 different flavors each day. There was a vanilla lychee on the first day that was really good.

Then back to the room for a nap, and a very busy lunch buffet. I suspect many folks skipped breakfast and slept in, so everyone came to lunch.

After lunch, we spent some time in the room, I worked on this blog and pictures and Donna got caught up on news and did some planning for tomorrow and the rest of the trip.

Then we went walking on deck in the afternoon, there were lots of people sunning themselves by the pools.

After supper, we went on top to watch the sunset, no green flash as there were clouds near the horizon.
