To Malta

Today we fly to Malta on Tunisia Air. The trip to the airport and through security was uneventful.

We found out that the flight was delayed an hour from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Donna looked on FlightAware and found that over the last week, the flight had been delayed an hour 1 time, delayed till 5 pm five times and cancelled once, which worried us a bit.

We did leave a little after 10:30 and arrived a bit late. The plane was an ATR-72 turboprop. We did one turn in a hold probably because we were late arriving and missed our scheduled landing slot.

We got to the hotel in Sliema and rested a bit and Donna went out to find something for lunch.

We walked along the Sliema waterfront also call Tigné Point. It’s across the bay from Valletta.

We had an excellent dinner at Tora, a dim sum place along the waterfront not too far from the hotel.
