Short ride to Paoli

The plan for the day is the same as last year, meet at 10 am in Fitchburg to ride to lunch at Seven Acres Dairy in Paoli. Last year it poured just after we arrived for lunch, and this year it is also going to rain, just a little later in the day.

We had a pleasant 50-minute ride down the Badger State bike path and arrived about 40 minutes before our 11:30 am lunch reservations.

We skipped ice cream this year as the rain was closing in and rode our bikes back to Fitchburg arriving as a few drops were falling.

One of the local breweries has a March Mustard Madness during the basketball tournament. They work with the National Mustard Museum which happens to be on the west side of Madison. It has a museum in the basement and a gift shop that allows you to taste many different mustards.

The museum is a quirky sense of humor.
