To Victoria Falls

We get up very early and have breakfast before the sun comes up. We start with a two and half hour drive to the dirt airport near Khwai to fly back to Kasane. Then we take a bus to Victoria Falls and a tour of the Falls in the afternoon. Victoria Falls is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We started driving before the sun came up. While driving back the guides saw the African Wild Dogs that we had been looking for yesterday.

We checked into the hotel in Victoria Falls and then left for our walking tour of Victoria Falls. This is the dry season, so the volume of water is down. One of the other travelers in this group had been here during the wet season and there was so much mist you really couldn’t see much.

In the evening we had a home-hosted visit to a local family.
