Okavango Delta Day 2
Today is our last day of wildlife viewing in the Okavango Delta region.
We’ve seen the nests of the White-browed Sparrow-weaver in all the parks, but rarely see the bird.
We spent some time looking for the African Wild Dogs that are in the area. At least one has a radio collar. They are not a common sighting as they are endangered.
In the afternoon we took a tour of the camp. This is an ECO camp, it is set up at the beginning of the season and torn down at the end of the season. The use shipping containers for some of the “buildings” so that they are easy to remove.
Our afternoon game drive wasn’t very long.
