Kafue National Park Day 1

Our program director decided that the next two days could be slower for us, so the wake-up time is 7 am, with breakfast at 7:30 and the game drive starting at 8 am.

After sunset, we returned to camp with a night game drive with a spotlight. You look for red flashes from eyes as the guide waves the spotlight. The jeep in front of us missed this Galago also known as a bushbaby.

The bush pig is larger than a warthog and has a white mane and is active at night. The warthog is active during the day and will raise it’s tail when it runs.
