Prague Castle

We arrived in time for supper yesterday. We are here a few days before our tour starts to see some of Prague on our own.

We start by walking over to the Prague Castle complex.

The Prague Castle is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our tour will visit the castle, but there is a lot to see and the tour won’t actually go into all the buildings.

We start with the Old Royal Palace.

The St. Vitus Cathedral dominates the castle courtyard. It fills so much of it, that it’s difficult to get far enough away to get a good photo.

The homes are small and you do what you need to do to have more space, like these stairs that fold up.
