Bratislava Castle

On the trip schedule there was a visit to a local school, but that isn’t happening because today is a school break. Instead, they brought a local high school history teacher on board the ship to give a talk about school in Slovakia.

We left the talk when it opened up for questions as we wanted to walk up to the castle area and look around.

We left a bit early to have time to walk up to Bratislava Castle and got back at 11:45 for the noon all aboard.

We had a galley tour in the afternoon. They cook all the meals for 140 passengers and the crew here. There is a crew dining room and a pantry below the kitchen. The kitchen staff does an excellent job with food allergies, the head chef handles most of them himself.
