Pictured Rocks

We took the Ranger III back to Houghton, MI and drove to Munising, MI on the western edge of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.

Our first stop was Munising Falls on the northeast corner of town.

Then we hiked to Miner’s Falls.

After lunch we hiked to Misquito Falls, which isn’t very big.

and to Chapel Falls, which is much more impressive.

We took a boat tour of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in the evening. The fires burning in western Canada were so bad at that time that the haze had drifted here.

The next day we went to Tahquamenon Falls.
