Vienna to the Ship
Today we transfer to the ship. We went to the parks around Habsburg in the morning.
We passed by the Minoritenkirche on the way to the parks.
We passed by this statue of Archduke Charles of Austria who was successful against Nepoleon.
Vienna suffered during the Great Plague epidemic of 1679. There is a plague column in Grabenplatz.
We picked up our luggage at 11:30 and made it to the boat for lunch at 12:30.
After lunch, we took the 2:00 bus back into town and toured the Sisi museum at the Habsburg.
We caught the underground and didn’t stop at Schwedenplatz to catch the bus back, as we only had 3 minutes from the train platform to the bus. We beat the bus back to the ship with a half mile walk from the underground stop to the ship.
The program directors introduced themselves before dinner, went for a short walk after dinner.
