Today is our last day in Berlin. Our three-day museum pass is over, walked to Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe.

We had a slow start to the day since we don’t have to be anywhere at a certain time till this afternoon. With our river cruise and the bike tour these past few weeks, we’ve had to stick to a time schedule, so it’s nice to take a break from that.

We arrived in Berlin at the main train station at 7:20 am. We walked over to the hotel, and dropped off our luggage.

The mistral was still blowing lightly. The forecast suggested that the wind was going to fade and the rain starting around 9-10 am. It was going to rain most of the next week.

The ride to Pont du Gard is canceled due to high winds, gusting to 50 mph. Too dangerous to ride across the bridge across the Rhône River with those side winds. Pont du Gard is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Mistral was blowing and will be blowing for the rest of our bike tour. Winds will be about 25 mph in the morning, 35 mph in the afternoon from the north today.

Today is the first day of our bike trip. We need to meet the Trek Travel bus at the Avignon train station at 11 am.
