The ride to Pont du Gard is canceled due to high winds, gusting to 50 mph. Too dangerous to ride across the bridge across the Rhône River with those side winds. Pont du Gard is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Mistral was blowing and will be blowing for the rest of our bike tour. Winds will be about 25 mph in the morning, 35 mph in the afternoon from the north today.

This morning we take the TGV train to Paris, then a stop at the Eiffel Tower and a boat tour on the Seinne river which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

To Lyon

There was a navigation problem on the bridge, so we couldn’t sail overnight to Lyon. So we tied up near dusk, and will arrive in Lyon around 4 pm this afternoon.
