We took a ride across the bay to the Dalyan river and to the ancient city of Kaunos.

The water was glassy smooth at Hammam Bay by Cleopatra’s Baths in the morning before breakfast.

This morning we visited the Greek village Kayaköy that was abandoned in the 1920s after the Greek/Turkey war and exchange of population.

Today we have another long drive in the bus with a stop in Demre to see St. Nicolas church which is built on his grave site.

Today we visit two ancient cities, Perge and Aspendos.

We have a long day of 9 hours of driving today from Cappadocia to Antalya on the southern coast. Today is the last of the three holiday days of Eid.

Today we started with a quick visit to the three sisters formation since it wasn’t raining yet, but would rain later in the morning.

We started our day very early with a 4am wake-up call for a chance at a balloon ride. The weather was still a little iffy, but they hadn’t flown the day before and today looked better.

We fly to Cappadocia in the late morning. Today is the last day of Ramadan, tomorrow is Eid. In Turkey, they use the term Ramadan Bayrami.
